Exciting news from KOSTAL: Our partner has introduced PLENTICOIN as an easy, fast and flexible solution to upgrade its products, thus replacing the previous activation codes.
What is the KOSTAL PLENTICOIN?
The PLENTICOIN is a single-purpose voucher for all KOSTAL product extensions. When installing the device, the PLENTICOIN can be redeemed in the KOSTAL Solar Webshop for the required activation code. The PLENTICOIN is already available in our QuickShop. It comes as an "analogue" version, i.e. a sealed voucher card. A “digital” version for drop shipment business will be added shortly.
What product upgrades are available?
The following product extensions are possible with PLENTICOINs:
- Battery upgrade (3 PLENTICOINs for the G3 series)
- Comfort function for wallbox ENECTOR (2 PLENTICOINs)
- Power upgrade (1 PLENTICOIN per power class)
How does the PLENTICOIN work?
- Buy it: PLENTICOINs can be purchased as an "analogue" version in the form of a card or as a "digital" version in QuickShop.
- Book it: PLENTICOINs are booked into the installer's company account in the KOSTAL Solar online shop.
- Use it: PLENTICOINs are redeemed in the KOSTAL Solar Webshop in exchange for activation codes for product upgrades. These activation codes allow installers to activate the extensions in the KOSTAL product.
Please note: PLENTICOINs for product extensions can only redeemed by installers, as this changes device parameters that may affect the installation. Further information and an explanatory video on PLENTICOIN can be found here:
